Hey everyone! As Amy Lyn gets "back in the game" just wanted to inform
you all that she will be working on her next album titled "Seasons of
Change" this coming November. It's not a fast moving process, but she's
completed two songs titled "Distance" and "The Memory" which is a tribute
to am amazing political journalist who we all (sadly) lost back in June.
His name was Tim Russert. Tim had a show called "Meet the Press" on
MSNBC Sunday mornings and was very knowledgable in the political world
but also very fair, consise, and open minded. He was a humble man
who felt very lucky to be a part of all that he was, and adored his
family, friends, and fans immensely. He was definitely a "one in a
million" kinda guy...he deserves to be remembered by all who's lives he
touched and because I was one of them...I felt a song existed...not from
the sorrows of his death, but from the the wonders in his life and all
that it entailed. So once again, I began to write...and something
beautiful resulted. Upon it's completion, I will be sending it onto
MSNBC in hopes that they will "take a listen" and share in the beauty OF
this song along with the rest of us. It will also be able to be viewed
not only on my website but on youtube.com as well so if folks search
Tim's name, they will ALSO be able to view the slideshow of photos and
hear the song playing in the background. With having said all of this, I
want to also dedicate my home page in memory of Tim Russert to his
family, his friends, his colleagues, and to all those who were lucky
enough to know of this man...personally, I wish there were many more like
